Abstract:?Studying the degree of soil erosion under different spatio-temporal scales in karst areas is of great significance for maintaining ecological balance and preventing land degradation. By modifying the soil erosion model in southwestern Guangxi based on desertification factors and soil loss tolerance, the results can help scientifically formulate soil and water conservation measures and promote regional sustainable development. This dataset includes soil erosion and desertification data from 2000 to 2020 in southwestern Guangxi. These data are estimated using the RUSLE model modified by desertification, based on multi-source data such as remote sensing, meteorology, geography, and soil in southwestern Guangxi, and then corrected by soil loss tolerance. It can accurately represent the soil erosion results in southwestern Guangxi from 2000 to 2020. This dataset performs data quality control from two aspects: data source and model calculation to ensure the objective accuracy of the data. It can provide the necessary scientific basis for evaluating soil erosion changes and ecosystem service changes in the southwestern Guangxi ecosystem.
